What's the difference between the one-day and two-day Lava20 courses?
The one-day £250 + VAT course teaches the Lava20 system and provides practical hands-on training. The two-day £500 + VAT Intermediate course goes further, includes the full practical accreditation process and is the route to Roofing Outlaw Training Labs Accredited Lava20 Installer status.
When do the courses run?
Two-day Intermediate courses run Monday–Tuesday and Wednesday–Thursday, with 12 places per intake and dates open across the following 12 months. One-day Beginner courses are Fridays only and are requested by emailing the preferred date and number of attendees.
Does the two-day course make me fully accredited?
Successful completion of the required two-day training and practical assessment gives Roofing Outlaw Training Labs Lava20 installer accreditation. It is system-specific installer accreditation and should not be described as a regulated vocational qualification unless an awarding body separately confirms that.
What does accreditation unlock?
Accredited installers can access the qualifying Lava20 25-year guarantee pathway, a public installer profile, the experience-level system and eligibility for the optional Accredited Flat Roofer Network.
How much is the Accredited Flat Roofer Network?
The first two months are free for eligible accredited installers who opt in. Membership is then £100 per month. The subscription is separate from the training fee.
Will The Roofing Outlaw find me work?
The network is designed to actively generate and route flat-roof homeowner opportunities using Roofing Outlaw social channels, paid advertising and the public accredited installer network. No minimum number or value of leads or contracts is guaranteed.
How do installer levels work?
Every 1,000m² of qualifying registered Lava20 installation moves the installer up one level. Each level adds 1% discount on qualifying goods, subject to the final programme terms and any maximum discount cap.
Can my workforce appear on the company profile?
Yes. Team members who complete the relevant Training Labs courses can be displayed on the company profile, helping homeowners see the depth of training within the business.
How does the 25-year guarantee work?
Accredited installers can access the Lava20 25-year guarantee on qualifying projects that meet the required specification, registration, completion and guarantee conditions.
What happens after a registered roof is completed?
Once a qualifying registered flat-roof job is complete and has passed the required completion process, the homeowner can download the applicable guarantee documentation. The programme also intends to provide The Roofing Outlaw homeowner guarantee/protection in accordance with the final published scheme terms.
What do I get when I complete a course in 2026?
Successful eligible attendees receive their course certificate, unique passing number, photo ID card and a bespoke Roofing Outlaw Training Labs hoodie carrying their company name and unique number, subject to the 2026 promotion terms.
