The cleanest way to cap a trim
These preformed GRP ends slot straight onto our Roofing Outlaw GRP trim range to close off the open ends with a crisp, watertight finish. No more stuffing newspaper, bodging with mastics, or sanding down filler blobs — these are factory-made, smooth, and ready to bond. They save time, cut out mess, and deliver a pro-level finish every time.
Compatibility: Designed to fit universally onto Roofing Outlaw trims. Fit and finish cannot be guaranteed with other brands.

How to fix (plain English)
-
Dry-fit & trim: Test the end cap on the trim. Sand lightly if needed for a snug fit.
-
Adhesive only (no silicone): Bed the joint with PU or hybrid adhesive (e.g. Rowan). Do not use silicone — it won’t bond to GRP.
-
Mechanical fix (optional): Pin through the flange to hold while adhesive cures.
-
Bandage the join: Bandage or CSM mat up to the very edge of the preformed end. Make sure there are no short laps.
-
Laminate the field: Glass deck as normal, overlapping onto trims/ends so everything becomes one shell.
-
Finish coat: Overpaint with RORR Top Coat or Lava Top Coat for a uniform, sealed finish.
Good practice
-
Adhesives: PU or hybrid only (Rowan recommended). Never silicone.
-
Bandage coverage: Run bandage/mat to the top of the formed join and over the end cap edge.
-
Outer faces: End caps don’t require fleece/matting on the finished outer face — just bandage to the join and laminate over.
-
Site shaping: End caps can be cut and sanded to fine-tune the line if needed.
FAQs
Will these fit other brands of trims?
They’re engineered for Roofing Outlaw trims. Using them with other trims may leave gaps or inconsistent finishes.
Do I still need fillers or mastics?
No. These are pre-made, smooth ends — no bodging required.
What adhesive should I use?
Use a PU or hybrid such as Rowan. Do not use silicone (it contaminates and won’t bond to GRP).
Do I need to glass the outer vertical face?
No. End caps don’t require fleece or matting on the outer face — just bandage the join, laminate the field, and topcoat.
Finish strong
Complete the end with RORR Top Coat or Lava Top Coat for a seamless, professional finish that matches the rest of the system.
